there's magic in the little details

Hi there! I’m Vivian :)Thank you so much for checking out my store. I'm just really glad that you're here taking a look, and your visit already means support! Have a good day!
We're getting RIGHT into it. For me, food meant comfort. On the surface, my suburban home looked pretty normal, but that wasn't the case. Food was a consistent way to find the peace and momentary happiness I needed. It became a habit to turn to food in times of distress and unhappiness. I've grown a lot since starting my journey to rebuild my relationship with food 5 years ago.
Our world moves so fast, and sometimes that pace just doesn’t feel right for "healing." It’s hard to "just get better" with so much going on and social media endlessly showing us what we could be if we were just "better already." However, handcraft arts like drawing, painting, and sculpting helped me find moments to quiet down, appreciate, and study the little details I found beautiful in the world. It was peaceful and gave me the silence I needed to heal. Of course, it’s not that simple. Making accessories does not fix everything, and there is much other work involved. Art is my mechanism to appreciate the smallest details. Over time, I applied this principle to myself and found beauty in the smallest ways. My freckles scatter like constellations across my cheeks, and the wrinkles in my hands tell a story of my ancestor's history. There are endless pieces to appreciate about myself, just as there are endless details to appreciate in food and the world. I hope my artwork and creations can serve as physical reminders of this message:  When we embrace a mindset of slowing down, appreciating the little moments and details, and when we feel gratitude for what we often take for granted -  we unlock a transformative and healing magic—one that changes not only how we perceive the meaning of “art”, but also how we see the world, ourselves, and our lives.
