there's magic in the little details

Hi there! I’m Vivian :)

Thank you so much for checking out my store. I'm just really glad that you're here taking a look, and your visit already means support! Have a good day!

For me, food meant comfort. On the surface, my suburban home looked pretty normal, but that wasn't the case. Food was a consistent way to find the peace and momentary happiness I needed. It became a habit to turn to food in times of stress and unhappiness.

I've grown a lot since starting my journey to rebuild my relationship with food. It begins with admitting you need help—and that’s totally okay. It’s probably one of the coolest and best things I’ve ever done for myself.

Our world moves so fast, and sometimes that pace just doesn’t feel right for "healing." It’s hard to get better with so much going on and social media endlessly showing us what we could be if we were just "better already." However, handcraft arts like drawing, painting, and sculpting helped me find moments to quiet down, appreciate, and study the little details I found beautiful in the world. It was peaceful and gave me the silence I needed to heal.

Of course, it’s not that simple. Making little clay charms isn’t going to fix everything, and there was so much other work involved. But art became a mechanism to appreciate the smallest details. Over time, I applied this principle to myself and found beauty in the smallest ways. My freckles scatter like constellations across my cheeks, and the wrinkles in my hands tell a story of my ancestor's history. There are endless pieces to appreciate about myself, just as there are endless details to appreciate in food.

I hope my artwork and creations can serve as physical reminders of this message: there is endless beauty and magic in the little details. Sometimes, you just need to stop and look for them.
